This Incense Burner is modelled on the Pampa Cross, a motif we often use in our rug designs. It is also known as Chakana; an Incan symbol that amongst other interpretations, represents balance, the dynamic between the universe and life, and unity through diversity.
This piece was commissioned by Pampa and lovingly made by hand by local ceramics maker, Marah Jones.
Crafted from Australian terracotta clay, it remains unglazed so as to celebrate the natural texture of the clay.
Size: Approx 14cm x 14cm | 5'5" x 5'5"
*Please note: Our ceramics are raw in form and so slight variations in colour and shape are to be expected.
