Pampa textiles are handwoven works of art, so hanging these pieces can have a big impact on a room. Ranging from small to medium sizes, this textile collection can be easily hung and look great mounted above the bed or over a piece of furniture.
The Puna Collection has travelled from the salt flats and elevated plains of northern Argentina. The indigenous communities who inhabit the harsh Puna landscape live at high altitudes, isolated from the post-colonial way of life but deeply connected to Andean culture and Pachamama, ‘Mother Earth’. Rugs in the Puna Collection feature simple geometric shapes, repeated and arranged to create original patterns. Ethnic motifs often represent mountainscapes and ways of cropping the fields. Neutral panels with pops of bright colour are woven from a mix of sheep and llama’s wool, giving Puna rugs a soft, warm character.
Pampa collections are named after the landscapes our artisans call home. All of our textiles have unique variations in grain and colour profile as well as carry the signature of the weaver in their individual design. Due to this unique connection to the weavers, slight imperfections. These are the things that make Pampa rugs a truly handmade product.
We can get these designs woven into rugs within our Andes Rug collection, please email us email@example.com for more info.
