Marketing & Design Co-Ordinator

Pampa is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Marketing & Design all-rounder with advanced skills in Graphic Design, Marketing and Photography, to join our Studio four days a week (with the potential to expand into a full-time role) in Byron Bay’s Arts & Industrial Estate. 

We are looking for someone that has a creative eye alongside really good organisational and time management skills to work side by side with Pampa’s Creative Director.

You will be a natural multitasker, as you will be responsible for designing and creating all Pampa marketing material, including all brand collateral, email marketing campaigns, catalogues, social media, website, and have prior experience creating and developing marketing strategies. You’ll have a good eye for design and the skills to work on new textile and product collections. The ideal candidate will be one step ahead of their to do list and able to deliver briefs in short periods of time.

The Role


Develop and execute all marketing material across digital and print.

Drive engagement by creating high quality original written and visual content for social media platforms.

Develop digital strategies for customer growth and to enhance customer experience, ensuring online retail thrives as the predominant channel for future sales, service & customer satisfaction.

Create engaging email campaigns, with the ability to publish on a weekly basis using MailChimp.

Manage and edit the Pampa Journal.

Create original written copy for marketing material including EDM’s, social media, journal posts and web.

Implement a content calendar, showing awareness of relevant upcoming social/community/industry dates and calendar in Australia and the USA, generating and scheduling content and planning timely marketing campaigns for Social Media, EDMs and journal posts to support this.

Work in collaboration with our agency partners across all digital, marketing, social and PR initiatives, together with developing the annual customer marketing plan.

Manage Press and Collaborators.

Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, including promotions, collaborations and competitions.

Communicate and engage influencers and our community by responding to comments, overseeing our customer service and responding to queries in a timely manner across all social media platforms on a daily basis.

Plan and design Instagram grid and stories on a weekly basis using Planoly.

Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword search and Google Analytics.


Graphic Design & Photography:


Proficient in Adobe Illustrator to create digital textile designs.

Work with Creative Director to develop design concepts to enhance Pampa’s visual direction.

Create digital and print design collateral for flyers, catalogues, EDM’s, Instagram Stories and website.

Design with Creative Director new collections of rugs and textiles.

Work side by side with our developer if changes need to be made on our website.

Shoot product photography for website.

Photo selection, editing and formatting for website, social media & print.

Upload and manage products in Shopify.


About You:

Quick turn-around time for briefs.

An expert in email marketing, website optimisation & customer experience software.

Experience developing & implementing media strategies to drive improvement across all channels.

Proven and advanced experience in digital media assets with strengths in data analytics.

An eye for clean design.

Advanced in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and In Design.

Advanced in Shopify, Wordpress and Shopify Apps.

Advanced in iPhone photography use.

Advance skills and knowledge with Shopify and WordPress.

Intermediate to advanced Photography skills working with a Canon Mark IV and V.

Knowledge in ads manager in FB, Google Analytics, FB analytics.

Can hit the ground running.

Minimum at least 2 years experience in a similar role.


Highly regarded:

Experience in textile design, a taste for interiors, design and photography. An understanding of Latin American culture and previous travel experiences.

This position is an in-house position only and based within the Byron Shire.
