Open Positions:

- SALES CONSULTANT – Byron Bay (Casual)

Pampa is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and confident Sales Consultant driving growing retail sale, packing online orders and assisting with general customer service while reporting to our Store Manager. This role would be suitable for someone with a minimum of one year experience in a similar role who is available to work in the Byron Bay region.

Working within a small team, the successful applicant will have the natural ability to multitask between retail customers & online orders with ownership, responsibility and attention to detail. This role will commence around the 6th of January and continue with 30 hrs + a week through February while our Manager is away, then moving into March with slightly reduced hours doing Fridays and Saturdays shifts. This role could potentially move into a permanent part-time role with more hours into the future as Pampa is a growing business.

 

Key tasks:

  • Greet all clients arriving to the store ensuring a positive & welcoming brand experience.
  • Presentation of products to retail clients (& trade clients when required).
  • Confidently provide in-store and online customer service and advice via emails, web chat function and social media, including product information, styling advice, customer complaint resolution and custom rugs quotations.
  • Ensure merchandising of the store is upheld to company presentation standards.
  • Pack and fulfil online sales through Shopify with care, accuracy and time efficiently.
  • Vacuuming rugs is part of the role.
  • Unpack, count and check the condition of all arriving stock from Argentina.
  • Keep the backroom looking neat, tidy and clean.
  • Work with Monday app for general day to day tasks on a daily basis.
  • Assist with PR & Media loans ensuring their return and checking the condition of products once retuned and advise if there are any issues.
  • Assist with Store and PR events.
  • Open and securely close Store following procedures.

The successful applicant will have the following experience, skills & attributes:

  • Reliable, punctual, friendly and trustworthy.
  • Excellent retail skills with past experience in a retail store & sales role.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent with point-of-sale systems and varied payment methods.
  • Extremely confident level of computer literacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.
  • Quick and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative approach to working as a team player.
  • High proficiency using Shopify.
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy rugs alone when necessary.
  • Understand and deliver brand merchandising procedures.
  • Flexibility including the ability to work one day on weekends.
  • Experience using Monday App is a plus.
