STORE & ONLINE CONSULTANT

Pampa is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and confident Store & Online Consultant with advanced skills in retail and an organised approach to join our store four days a week (part-time) in our beautiful studio in Byron Bay. There’s room for growth within this role as Pampa is constantly growing as a business, and has the potential to transition into a full time role.

Working within a small team, the successful applicant will have the natural ability to multitask between retail customers, online orders and warehouse duties with ownership, responsibility and attention to detail.

Key tasks:

  • Greet all clients arriving at the showroom, ensuring a positive brand experience
  • Confidently provide in-store and online customer service and advice via emails, web chat function and social media, including product information, styling advice and customer troubleshooting
  • Confidently work with clients to resolve issues including product, shipping and customer dissatisfaction, offering appropriate solutions
  • Ensure display of the Showroom is upheld to company presentation standards, including having the store clean and tidy
  • Proactively manage visual merchandising of the Showroom, presenting suggestions to constantly keep the space fresh
  • Manage and fulfil online sales through Shopify and Star Ship-it, packing all orders with care and accuracy
  • Answer incoming telephone calls to the showroom, including quotations and order processing when required
  • Ensure the online store is accurate and functioning as expected
  • Assist with daily showroom deliveries, including inventory tracking and quality control of goods
  • Manage Third Party provider ordering, quality control and stock levels
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and stocktake. Providing suggestions to the Brand Manager regarding appropriate stock levels and trends in sales
  • Maintain and manage an accurate spreadsheet and levels of packing consumables 
  • Supervise and train other employees who may be helping with showroom or warehouse duties
  • Ensure rug trial loans are return within 24 hrs and check the condition of all loaned products (including press & media) once retuned and advise if there are any issues
  • Work with Monday app for general day to day tasks on a day to day basis
  • Keep storage and counter areas tidy and organised 
  • Assist with local showroom events
  • Assist managers with ad hoc requirements
  • Work together with Sales Coordinator with sending orders, preparing yarn samples and other tasks
  • Open and securely close showroom ensuring alarm is armed upon leaving

  • Flexibility including the ability to work two Saturdays a month

Experience and skills

  • Experience in retail within the industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using Shopify and Starship It
  • Experience in visual merchandising 
  • Experience using Monday app is a plus

CONTENT & COMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Pampa is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and confident Content & Communications Coordinator with advanced skills in copywriting, editing and curating with a creative yet detailed organised approach to join our studio four days a week (part-time) in our beautiful studio in Byron Bay. There is a lot of room for growth within this role as Pampa is constantly growing as a business, there is potential for the role to become full time quickly.

The successful applicant will be working under the guidance of our Global Director and Brand Manager who are both highly experienced, with years of developing Pampa’s image, style and voice. They will provide strong mentorship for the smooth integration into the role.

The successful applicant will work side by side with our Graphic Designer to develop and execute all content and communication to Pampa’s community; including marketing collateral, email marketing campaigns, social media campaigns as well as working across our website, journal and social media channels. The successful applicant will have the natural ability to multitask and execute tasks with ownership, responsibility and attention to detail.

Key Tasks:

  • Creating written content across all channels
  • Executing engaging email campaigns (Mailchimp/Klavio)
  • Managing Instagram platform (Planoly) and Pinterest
  • Executing the Pampa Journal
  • Detailed monthly MKT reporting (social platforms, MailChimp and Google analytics)
  • Active participation in MKT meetings and strategies for the development of brand awareness
  • Managing an influencer program
  • Assisting in the management of a content calendar
  • Assisting with tasks related to PR, Agency Partners and website management
  • Staying up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

The successful applicant will have:

Experience and skills

  • Minimum at least 2 to 3 year’s experience in a similar role within the industry
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with ability to express Pampa’s views creatively, developing and using our tone of voice
  • Experience using Planoly
  • Experience and a passion for social media (predominately Instagram and Pinterest) and trends in the homewares and interior design worlds
  • A proven eye for clean design and photography in line with Pampa’s aesthetic
  • Advanced in WordPress, Shopify and Shopify Apps
  • Advanced in iPhone photography

Other skills – Not required but an advantage

  • Intermediate to advanced in Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Monday task planner experience
  • Cannon SLR knowledge
  • Experience with In Design and Illustrator
  • Basic knowledge of web coding and HTML
