The Pampa Team
THE PAMPA TEAM
Victoria Aguirre & Carl Wilson
Carl from Australia and Victoria from Argentina, both photographers and explorers, first met while travelling through South America in 2011. When they discovered their shared passion for empowering communities and helping to preserve handicraft skills, they decided to start Pampa. Nowadays they integrate their own art in the form of Fine Art Prints with the woven artwork of the Pampa artisans. They believe in social integration and sustainable processes, making sure their products have a specially rooted sense of place.
Manuel is Pampa’s man on the ground in Argentina, connecting us with our partner weavers while we’re home in Australia. Manuel – or ‘Manso’ as he is more affectionately known – is our latest addition to the team and is the answer we have been looking for to ensure that a constant supply of new Pampa pieces is always available. He loves nothing more than horse riding and surfing during his spare time. Having lived in Australia himself in the past and being Argentinean-born, he understands Pampa’s mission perfectly. Having a degree and experience in business administration, he brings some very useful tools to the Pampa team.

Casey is Pampa's in-house graphic designer. With over 5 years design experience, a beautiful personal style and a very strong eye for detail, she brings all of our creative ideas to life. Casey cut her teeth in her hometown of Melbourne before recently making the move up to Byron Bay. Good design, the ocean and opportunities to travel bring her constant joy, as well as being immersed in nature and taking surfing and camp trips in her Troopy. She draws inspiration from living in a like-minded, creative community and splits her working week between Pampa and her swimwear brand, Hakea.

Elisha Kennedy is a freelance writer and editor, living on the Far South Coast of NSW. Her role as a storyteller pairs well with Pampa’s ethos of celebrating provenance and sense of place. She is interested in sustainable development and in her own time enjoys diving for seafood and camping with her family. Having studied Writing with a focus on Environmental Literature, Elisha is curious about the inter-relationship between language and concepts of Nature.

Chief of security
Poncho loves the beach and going to the park, he's at work everyday with us as he loves being surrounded by his family. He welcomes everyone with a happy face and a hello bark every now and again. Security surveillance is his main role at Pampa, but he often sleeps on the job and takes long siestas underneath the office desk. We love you Ponchi!
