Description + -
The Mambo chairs are a playful exploration of sculptural design handcrafted in Byron Bay by J.D Lee Furniture. Drawing inspiration from the MAMBO clothing brand, the chairs each have cheeky names like ‘the bum seat’ and ‘the tongue’. Their chunky aesthetic is paired with a refined, hand carved form. Each chairs shape is organic and will vary slightly with each recreation. The structural integrity of the chair is enforced with large mortice and tenon joinery, pinned in place with timber dowels.
The Mambo Chair is made to order, handcrafted over 4-8 days by our small team of skilled makers, in Jeremy's Mullumbimby workshop. Lead times vary between 10-14 weeks.
The Mambo Chair is available to be finished using OSMO naturally derived Oil & Wax.
Comes with a two year structural warranty.
