The Puna Collection has travelled from the salt flats and elevated plains of northern Argentina. The indigenous communities who inhabit the harsh Puna landscape live at high altitudes, isolated from the post-colonial way of life but deeply connected to Andean culture and Pachamama, ‘Mother Earth’. Cushions in the Puna Collection feature simple geometric shapes, repeated and arranged to create original patterns. Traditional Argentinian motifs often represent mountainscapes and ways of cropping the fields. Neutral panels with pops of bright colour are woven from a mix of sheep’s and llama’s wool, giving Puna rugs a soft, warm character. 

Handwoven by skilled artisans, these Puna cushions have been sourced directly for a fair price from the communities where they were made. When you purchase a Puna cushion, you’re helping Pampa trace the map that connects Argentina’s talented artisans with the global community.

Pampa cushions come with feather and recycled poly-fibre inserts that can be easily removed through a specially woven opening on the back.

*Please note: Our Puna cushions are woven from 100% natural sheep's wool. They are dyed by hand using natural matters like onion skins, barks of trees, seeds, etc. Whilst we do our best to represent the colour accurately, wool is a raw fibre so please expect slight variations in gradient and tone.

Hand wash with cold water and lay flat to dry. Do not iron.
